An adult, rear- wheel drive manual wheelchair designed for a user who is bariatric. It has a rigid frame made from steel. Can be dismantled. Its castors and rear wheels are set forward to encourage the user’s weight to be over the rear wheels. Seat height, depth and width are adjustable and a backrest recline is available. Various options and accessories are available.
The Start M4 XXL is the robust model among the standard adaptive wheelchairs. With its stable double crossbrace and the reinforced rear wheels, it can carry up to 160 kilograms and withstand extreme stress and strain. An optional back stabilizer rounds out the wheelchair’s features without compromising its foldability. The rear wheel adapter of the Start M4 XXL allows the centre of gravity to be adjusted to meet different user needs.
