Overview

Probably the world’s lightest folding bariatric wheelchair weighing approximately 23kg yet able to carry an occupant of 200kg (32 stone). This very comfortable chair is available in 4 different seat widths and is reinforced with impact suppression built in the frame to increase comfort for the occupant. This coupled with the strongest wheelchair wheels ever made make this exceptional chair a natural choice for heavy duty applications. The Greencare bariatric chair offers unique configurability using the extensive range of Greencare accessories.

Technical Information

Seat widths 20”, 22”, 24” and 26” on triple braced frames with impact suppression for comfort and super strength.
Seat depths of 19” and 21”.
Seat to ground heights can be between 17 ½” and 23”.
All chairs fitted with the world’s strongest wheelchair wheels tested to 320kg per wheel, which like all wheels in the Greencare range come with optional hub brakes to assist carers pushing the chair.
Reinforced side panels on forward supporting armrests.
Back posts, which can be folding or non folding have reinforcing for extra strength.
Selectable rear wheel sizes.
All chairs fold making it easier for transportation and storage.
Backrest and seat are made in cushioned fabric for greater comfort with tension adjustment on back canvas for additional contoured support.
Backrest height is selectable in the range480mm, 530mm or 580mm and can be fitted with backrest extension to facilitate use in transportation.
For added strength a foot bar with positional footplate is fitted as a standard alternative to traditional footplate hangers.
A lap belt is fitted as standard. All other posture belts can be requested as can seat positioning aids and power assist options.
Greencare wheelchairs are crash tested to ISO 7176-19.
